Young and old, big and small, wrinkled or freshly bathed, with a walking stick or in a wheelchair, on four legs or with feathers, it has all been discoverd these weeks. I took the puppies to the Wartburg school where they walked around the class with children of 6, 7 years old. They explored the class and walked from desk to desk and if the children wanted, they could pet them. I also took them to an old age home in Scherpenzeel, - Huis in de Wei, where about 20 people that had heard I was coming with puppies had gathered. I let each person hold and cuddle a puppy. A photo was taken of each person

as he or she cuddled a puppy so the patients could talk about this important event with each other later. The fact that we were there was very much appreciated by the patients and it got many of them talking about their own pets with which they had had a fond memory. I'll place a picture of a some of the people that felt very happy. The privacy has been preserved, so I have not put their faces on the pictures, I am sure everyone understands.
